With a shutter opening serving hatch into the fully-equipped stainless steel kitchen, the Main Hall is perfect for parties, quizes or dance classes.

 

 

 

Conditions of Hire for The Main Hall

 

Heating can be regulated by the room thermostat in the centre of the room.

 

Food and drink may be prepared in the kitchen. Hot drinks may be made instantly with the aid of the Zip appliance which delivers INSTANT BOILING WATER. If using the dishwasher, the instructions MUST be carefully followed.

 

A V-mop and other cleaning appliances are available in the cleaning cupboard off the main foyer. After using the V-mop use the dustpan and brush to remove the residue.

 

Spillages on the wooden floor (including the stage) should be dried immediately with absorbent paper. A damp mop may be used to remove sticky deposits but the floor must be dried afterwards. The warning sign may be used if appropriate. 

 

Please ensure the toilets are kept clean. Place sanitary items and paper towels in a disposal bag and leave in the bin - do not put them in the toilet.

 

Do NOT drag any equipment, including tables and chairs, across the wood floor.

 

The car park/ foyer lights are controlled by switches just inside the main entrance. Please ensure the car park light is switched off as you leave. The main light outside is on a sensor and turns off automatically. The external lights remain permanently on during the hours of darkness. 

 

Before you leave please make sure:

(1)    All cups,glasses, utensils etc are washed, dried and returned to cupboards in the kitchen

(2)    The cooker is switched off at the wall and fridges wiped clean

(3)    Empty the bin in the kitchen

(4)    The kitchen floor is damp mopped

(5)    Fold down all tables and return to the designated area

(6)    Chairs may be left around the perimeter of the hall (not stacked) but all other chairs must be returned to the chair store using the trolley provided.

(7)    All shutters are closed

(8)    All windows are closed and curtains are left in the open position

(9)    Thermostat is set at 21 degrees

(10)    All lights are switched off

(11)     All doors are locked

(12)    Return keys promptly as others may need them straight away

Residents of Lubenham Parish £15 per hour                Non-residents £25 per hour

 

The Main Hall and Onyx Room can be made into one hall with the removal of the folding wall - The cost of hiring both halls 

 

Residents of Lubenham Parish - £25 per hour              Non-residents £40 per hour
